In the most surprising announcement since the last surprising announcement Caleb Swanigan was unanimously named the Big Ten conference player of the year. If he didn’t win this one I think there would have been riots in the streets and a march to the conference headquarters in Chicago. Swanigan is the first B1G Player of the Year for Purdue since JaJuan Johnson in 2010-2011.
