Purdue is still alive, and that is fantastic.

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-Second Round-Purdue vs Iowa State James Lang-USA TODAY Sports

What a weekend! Two games, two wins for Purdue as we’re officially in the Sweet 16 for the first time in seven years. We have P.J. Thompson on the picture because even though he had jsut five points last night, they were five gigantic points.

So who will we play? Purdue will play the winner between Kansas and Michigan State. The other half of the Midwest bracket has Oregon playing Rhode Island and Louisville agaisnt Michigan. We will play Thursday night, so they get a short turnaround and we have the benefit of an extra day of rest over the other three teams.

I am not going to talk any smack or say anything, not after things were going perfectly and essentially turned around in a single possession last night. I am just going to enjoy that our Boilers are still alive in the NCAA Tournament.

Anyway, here is your Day 4 thread. Enjoy!
