Last year Purdue lost int he second stretch of games on the first day of the NCAA Tournament. The way that Little Rock lost happened ruined the rest of the opening weekend for me. I normally love watching the NCAA Tournament. I absorb it every year and watch as much as is humanly possible.
Last year thought? I was so distraught I couldn’t even watch the remaining three days of the opening weekend, which is the best sporting event on earth. It was just ruined for me.
This year is different. Purdue was a 10 point winner yesterday, so we’re still alive in this silly thing. I have a Second Round preview to write for the first time in five years and we get at least one more game. We’ll see what happens there, but for now we can enjoy the second day for First Round games that include two more Big Ten teams (Michigan and Michigan State) taking the floor.
