Generally,t he final game or two of the men’s basketball season is left as TBA. The conference wants to see how the standings shape up to provide the best possible matchups for its TV partners. That leaves things up in the air for the final weekend until now.
A few moments ago the conference announced the finalized tipoff times and TV networks for the last weekend of the season, and Purdue at Northwestern will get the marquee treatment.

This is the second time this season Purdue will play on CBS, with the first time being the Wisconsin game. there is a lot at stake, too. For Purdue, if it wins the next three games the Boilers will be playing for at least a share of the Big Ten title. If Wisconsin loses once in its next four games and Purdue beats Penn State, Michigan, and Indiana, the Boilers will be playing for their first outright title in 21 years.
For Northwestern, it could be the biggest game in the history of their program. right now they are in very good shape to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time ever, and one more win (say, tonight in Champaign) probably clinches it for them. If not, a win over one of the conference leaders in their final home game almost certainly would.
This should be fun!
