It was a big week for Purdue with three wins over possible NCAA Tournament teams. It was also a big week for Isaac Haas. He started a little slow on Tuesday night with 9 points and four rebounds in the win over Louisville. In the two games against conference competition he was a raging monster, and that got him Big Ten Player of the Week honors.
Friday night at Louisville he had one of the best games of his career with 21 points, 5 rebounds, and four blocked shots, even dominating after leaving the game with an injury at one point. Yesterday he was even better, dropping 26 points and nine rebounds on Northwestern.
#B1G honor for the big man.

Not only was Haas big against Northwestern, he was clutch. he tied the game at 67-67 with 2:04 left and tied it against at 69-69 on a pair of free throws with 1:16 left. After a Bryant McIntosh turnover Purdue went right back to Haas, who scored on a hook with 43 seconds left to put Purdue in front for good.
This is the first time a Purdue player has won Player of the Week honors this year, but Biggie won seemingly all of them last season anyway. I believe it is the first time Haas specifically has won.
