— Purdue Football (@BoilerFootball) December 20, 2017
Name: Eric Miller
Position/Size: Offensive Tackle, 6’7”, 270 Pounds
Ranking: 3*
Other Offers: Air Force, Ball State, Central Michigan, Ohio, Yale, Western Kentucky
Impact: Eric will need to get into the weight room. He is a thin offensive tackle, but boy can he move.
Of the offensive line commits coming in, he is probably the best pure bass blocker. He also does a great job of getting up to the second level in the run game with his great running ability.
This is another example of what Coach Brohm is looking for in his offensive tackles. Tall, athletic with a great ability to move and get up to the second level. Eric Miller is the epitome of this.
He comes to us from Mason High School in Mason, Ohio. While he didn’t have other Power 5 offers. He started getting looks from other B1G schools. But, he was 100% committed to us back in June, so many school peeled off from recruiting him.
Coach Brohm has done a great job of recruiting the state of Ohio, getting the second tier guys that do not commit to either Ohio State or Michigan. Ohio is a great state for football, with talent all throughout the state.
Take a look at Eric’s highlights.
Welcome to West Lafayette, Eric. Boiler Up!
