Name: Branson Deen
Position/Size: 6’3”, 245 Pounds, Defensive End
Ranking: 3*
Other Offers: Ball State, Syracuse, Ohio, Western Michigan, Toledo
Impact: Branson was shadowed by Cameron McGrone who is headed up to Michigan, he was a highly touted 4 star recruit.
Branson went under the radar, but not under the radar for our coaching staff. I got the chance to see Branson play this year. He is the real deal. He is a disruptive force on every play for Lawrence Central of Indianapolis. He could be an early starter or contributor on his first couple of years on campus.
He has great size already. He could be a candidate to put a little more weight on and become an interior players similar to Gelen Robinson.
Branson played in the MIC his entire career, which is argued to be one of the best high school conferences in the entire United States. Branson is a guy that can rush the passer and defend the run.
Take a look at his highlights.
Welcome aboard, Branson. Boiler Up!
