It’s official, @_JordanB1K is a Boilermaker! #BoilerUp #LetsPlayFootball pic.twitter.com/NBNaPscAwb
— Purdue Football (@BoilerFootball) December 20, 2017
Name: Jordan Bonner
Position/Size: Wide Receiver, 6’3”, 190 Pounds
Ranking: 3*
Impact: There is no hiding that Purdue needs help at wide receiver on the perimeter. It took just over half the season for Anthony Mahoungou to erupt as our clear cut number one option this season.
The bad news is, he is gone next year.
We have a couple of slot receivers that will return in Jackson Anthrop and Tyler Hamilton. But, who will give us production on the outside? Maybe it could be this incoming playmaker.
Jordan played his high school days in Carrollton, Georgia. He is an explosive athlete that can go up and get the ball, but he can also outrun you on the perimeter of the offense. He has pretty soft hands, something we lacked this past season where drops were plentiful.
Jordan comes into an opportunity to make an impact from day 1. Check out his highlights below (junior year, could not find his senior year).
Welcome to Purdue, Jordan. Boiler Up!
