Get your fax machines ready because it is time for the early signing period for the 2018 college basketball recruiting cycle. Purdue has five open slots scholarship-wise for the 2018-19 season, and three of those will be filled today in the persons of Trevion Williams, Eric Hunter, and Emmanuel Dowuona.
Collectively, this group forms the 34th best recruiting class in the nation according to Rivals, and it could get even better if Tyger Campbell jumps on board after this weekend’s visit to DePaul. Remember: the signing period only starts today. It goes through next Wednesday, so Campbell can commit and sign any time in the next week.
This is also a class that is expected to have more of an immediate impact with Isaac Haas, Vince Edwards, P.J. Thompson, and Dakota Mathias leaving after this season. We’ll have updates all day as they happen, so stay tuned.
