Purdue at Northwestern GameThread & How to Watch

Bowl hopes are on the line even as most of the nation watched Notre Dame at Miami. Shoot, even that will likely be on my main TV as I try to achieve marital bliss, but rest assured, Purdue-Northwestern will still be up on my laptop.

And it is a big game for Purdue. With northwestern being ranked in the top 25 of the playoff rankings it gives us a good chance at our first victory over a ranked team in six years. The Wildcats, of course, are on an incredible hot streak of three straight overtime wins, so it won’t be easy.

More importantly, a victory gives Purdue a shot at a bowl game going into its final two games, where a 50/50 split assures a 13th game. Purdue is playing football with a little more confidence after beating Illinois at home last week, so maybe it will carry over as Elijah Sindelar returns to the starting lineup.
