So, this happened today.

The College Football Playoff will be played in Indianapolis in 2022.

You are thinking, well how the heck does this affect our Purdue Boilermakers?

I will tell you how.

By 2022, all of the guys who have not bought in will be long gone. In fact, 2022 would be the perfect time for us to make our first appearance (of many) in the College Football Playoff.

Sure, you can consider the 2017 Brohm’s first class at Purdue, but it really is not, as most were recruited by Darrell Hazell.

His first real class is this 2018 class that we have coming in. Also, it will have a Junior version of George Karlaftis that will be wrecking opposing offensive linemen’s worlds.

This 2018 class, who will be seniors when we make the playoff, is currently ranked 44th in the nation. But have no fear, our coaches will develop these guys into stars.

Players like Jaylan Alexander, Jack Plummer, Elijah Ball, Jack Cravaack, Destin Coates and Lawrence Johnson will be leading this senior led team to the promise land in 2022.

It will take work, but here we come. Indy or bust, 2022.
