Well, that was fun, until it wasn’t. Tanner Lees was masterful int he final 1:22, going 7 of 8 for 70 yards and finding Stanley Morgan Jr. for a 13-yard TD with 16 seconds left. Another last minutes, frustrating loss for the Boilers in a game we easily could have won. Another loss where Purdue led for most of the game.
Naturally, there is frustration, but you cannot argue that progress has been made. Let’s see what Twitter had to say about this:

#Purdue marching along then sack + false start + incompletion = punt. Still running into trouble when they stray from the run.

Five punts in the 1st quarter? So #B1G.

Our receivers could pick up a dirty prostitute, not wear any protection, and still not catch any STDs.
— Juan (@Air_Force_Juan) October 29, 2017
3-0 Nebraska! If this was soccer, we’d be kicking the shit out of them.
— CornNation (@CornNation) October 29, 2017
alas, it is not.
Is Shoop back there calling plays again?
— Dan Bruckelmeyer (@dan_bruck) October 29, 2017
Just. How do you not catch that

You have to love intensity of #Purdue DC Holt. Guy doesn’t take a play off. Great for program.

Blough has made some incredible passes. His receivers have ruined them all.

I think Glen Mason is still bitter about his 1-7 record against Purdue when he was Minnesota's coach.

Purdue just is determined to find a way to lose. So damn frustrating.
— Jumbo Heroes (@jumboheroes) October 29, 2017
We really need to look on the waiver wire and see what wide receivers are available. What? That’s not how college football works? Shit.
— Jumbo Heroes (@jumboheroes) October 29, 2017
This is Purdue. If it's possible, it'll happen to Purdue.
— Demoyne Jones (@ItllBeAiight) October 29, 2017
It's okay, I don't feel pain anyways.
— Juan (@Air_Force_Juan) October 29, 2017
We have no depth. We led the game for 99%. It will take time but moral victories suck
— JonathanD (@JonathanDoud) October 29, 2017
Not all Husker fans are like that, its a Missouri thing. Both teams played hard, but need work. Good luck with the rest of the season!
— Dxcv (@Habrock_Brewing) October 29, 2017
This just isn't the year...and we should all expect that. We are more competitive but lack talent and some intangibles. It will change.
