After losing at Rutgers last week this game is pretty much a must-win for Purdue’s bowl hopes. The Boilers are favored (a rarity of late), so we need to take advantage an win at home. There should be a good home crowd for a prime time kickoff despite the weather, too.
I am strangely confident though. Nebraska is a team that has struggled all season and they may be on the edge of quitting on the season. Mike Riley is on the hottest of hot seats because few Nebraska coaches can survive even one losing season, and he may be on his way to a second in three seasons.
As far as who is in attendance I am in my usual seats. Kyle should be somewhere in the crowd. hopefully the issue of dropped passes is at least somewhat fixed and the boilers can get the offense back in gear after scoring only one touchdown in the last two games combined.
