NCAA Football: Minnesota at Purdue Sandra Dukes-USA TODAY Sports

Purdue has only won one game after October 8th since 2012. That’s an astoundingly bad 1-27 record after October 8th in the last four years combined. The lone win was the surprising 55-45 win on October 31st against Nebraska two years ago.

Well, that is about to change. We’re at Rutgers today, and honestly, if we can’t beat Rutgers even before Jeff Brohm was hired, we have real problems. For the first time in five years we’re a road favorite and we have a chance to get a second conference win in a season, which is also something that was never done under Darrell Hazell.

T-Mill is in attendance. He made the drive out to Rutgers and is hoping to change his own road misfortune when he see’s Purdue. Purdue is 1-10-1 in the first game at a Big Ten venue when he is in attendance. it is time for that to change too.
