Purdue Football announced a schedule change this afternoon.
Next year, the Saturday, September 1st game has been moved to Thursday, August 30th. We should go ahead and assume this will be a night game as well, probably a 7:30 or 8 PM start.
As Purdue Football continues to gain traction, the national media and NCAA will start to take notice.
If you remember, the opening B1G game of the year this season, was the Ohio State at Indiana game, where OSU won 49-21.
Purdue vs Northwestern should be a pretty good game to start the season next year. A night game, under the lights, thirsty Thursday at Purdue. This should make it all interesting, West Lafayette will be very weird that night, but a good weird.
Let the hype begin.
