Normally college basketball teams are allowed two exhibition games, and lately many have taken to playing a lower division team for a tune-up and a “secret scrimmage” where no stats are kept and no media is allowed. This year Purdue is facing West Virginia again and WE DO NOT TALK ABOUT SECRET SCRIMMAGE! Of course, the United States ahs been hit by some terrible hurricanes this year. Hurricane Harvey flooded the Houston area and Hurricane Irma leveled much of Puerto Rico before causing damage in Florida. Hurricane Maria then leveld the remainder of Puerto Rico with a direct hit.
It is a messy situation and since matters have been handled... less than adequately by those on charge of a U.S. territory, we’re stepping up to help. Next Saturday at 3pm before the football team faces Nebraska at 7:30pm the men’s basketball team will face off against Indiana State in a special exhibition in Mackey Arena. General Admission tickets will be $10 and all proceeds will go to benefit hurricane relief:
ISU men's basketball will play an exhibition game next Saturday, October 28th at Purdue for the hurricane relief fund. Its a 3 pm tip and general admission tickets to the game will be $10.

This is a wonderful idea. Indiana State features a lot of in state players including Brenton Scott, the twin brother of former Boiler Bryson Scott. Regardless of what happens, we need to sell this out. Mackey Arena seats over 14,000 people, so let’s get a butt in every seat and sell this out to get over $140,000 for hurricane relief.
