Yesterday did not end like we had hoped, but it was still better than we expected. Yes, I realize I am not making a lot of sense, but neither did that game. How else do you explain getting dominated in almost every statistica category, yet we still had a chance to tie at the end.
Yeah, just a weird game, so let’s see what Twitter had to say:
Good luck today @AnthropJackson do your thing, don't back down
— Danny Anthrop (@DannyAnthrop) October 14, 2017
@HammerAndRails Wisconsin’s band just played Hail Purdue. Little bit of respect earned there.
— Breezy (@OV_Breezy) October 14, 2017
Doesn’t matter who the coach is, Wisky always blocks well
— The Railroad Tie (@therailroadtie) October 14, 2017
Where is the Purdue defense? Did they miss the flight?
— Purdue-lock Holmes (@Holmes_y_Rails) October 14, 2017
Looks like Camp Randall is still Purdue’s house of horrors. pic.twitter.com/T7vbTX8gUh

Wisconsin 14, Purdue 0 with 6:12 left. That drive went nine plays, 73 yards in 5:46.

And now back to the Purdue gam...OMG WHAT HAPPENED.
— Juan (@Air_Force_Juan) October 14, 2017
Maybe the Badgers will get tired. Or bored.
— Boiled Sports (@BoiledSports) October 14, 2017
Uh. I am not familiar with this part of Big Ten lore https://t.co/S71WEg8owS
— CornNation (@CornNation) October 14, 2017
Ah, so back to Purdue's regularly scheduled programming? Got it.

"And I'll Just take that." What @BoilerFootball's Da'Wan Hunte probably thought right here. pic.twitter.com/Qwrf646tDp

[Barney from How I Met Your Mother voice] ORRRRRRRR... https://t.co/bq6tIq8UCp
— Bucky's 5th Quarter (@B5Q) October 14, 2017
Purdue hanging around at half at Camp Randall, which is more than you can say for most of their post-Tiller teams.
— Derek Schultz (@Schultz975) October 14, 2017
And it's @BoilerFootball FOR THE BLOCK! pic.twitter.com/77B1FhYxWS
— Purdue On BTN (@PurdueOnBTN) October 14, 2017
I could happen to anyone. The “of course” is that that the Purdue guy who happens to pick up the ball happens to get a non contact injury
— Kyle P (@kluprice31) October 14, 2017
We're in a quantum losing state.
— Juan (@Air_Force_Juan) October 14, 2017
Schrodinger's Purdue. They are both winning and losing the game
— Full Steam Ahead (@Boiler_Fanatic) October 14, 2017
@HammerAndRails NEAL WITH HIS VERSION OF JUMP AROUND AND RECOVERS THE FOOTBALL! pic.twitter.com/hp2yoSkbCx
— JonRolfes (@jon_rolfes) October 14, 2017
If Purdue ties it I'll join the game https://t.co/qiH6YoEkOL
— HeyBOOd JaBOOni (@hw_jabroni) October 14, 2017
Purdue's D has been pretty damn impressive today
— Big Cat (@BarstoolBigCat) October 14, 2017
Purdue is lingering in this game like a fart in an old couch cushion @HammerAndRails @BoilerFootball
— Kristoph (@iamkrisbaker) October 14, 2017
@HammerAndRails no more moral victories. We have talent to win these games. Finally got a coach to show these kids they have what it takes
— Eric Rife (@BoilerLondon) October 14, 2017
Last time Purdue was within 1 score this late against Wisconsin? I can’t remember a non blowout.
— Brian (@squats2) October 14, 2017
Opportunities came at Purdue in this game like pic.twitter.com/kPqTHHAFYB
— Habitual Boiler (@HabitualBoiler) October 14, 2017
17-9 #Wisconsin wins, but we can all take solace in the fact that every single one of us is a better FT shooter than Ethan Happ.
— Purdue-lock Holmes (@Holmes_y_Rails) October 14, 2017
Had plenty of opportunities. Made the Badgers work 60 for it. Love the fight in this team.
— Joe (@yazdog8) October 14, 2017
True....on a side note..amazing what coaching and a culture change can do to a program.
— Scott (@DRealScottEvans) October 14, 2017
Sounds like bowl talk to me https://t.co/flOI9S1YSW
