For the second straight week Purdue will kick off in the 3:30 ET timeslot for TV purposes. Of course, it helps that both games are away from Ross-Ade Stadium and at venues that feature permanent lights. It was announced today that next week’s game at Illinois will kick off at 3:30pm ET and will be televised on Big Ten Network.
The Big Ten has announced that the Oct. 8 game at Illinois will kick at 3:30 p.m. ET and shown on BTN. #BoilerUp #FocusFightFinish

The streak of 3:30pm games will end on October 15, as the Homecoming game against Iowa has long been announced as a noon kickoff. So far no other kickoffs other than the next three games have been announced, but it is a good bet that all three home games after Iowa will be at noon. I supposed there is a small chance that the Wisconsin game will be at 3:30pm depending on how well the Badgers are doing, but it is unlikely. I would bet that Purdue’s other three remaining road games that have not been announced are all at venues with lights.
