Purdue announced its promotions schedule for the 2016-17 men’s basketball season and it features a pair of bobblehead giveaways as well as a top gun theme for the 30th anniversary of the movie. Here are all the promotions for this coming season:
November 11 - Salute to Service Game, Schedule Magnet Giveaway for 1st 2000 fans, and Student Philanthropy Night Option #1
November 14 - Boilermaker Blackout game vs. Villanova. All fans wear black for the first non-conference defending champ to come to Mackey in almost 50 years.
November 26 - Boilermaker Kids Club game vs. NJIT
December 3 - Youth Day and Student Philanthropy Night Option #2 vs. Moorehead State
December 10 - Boilermaker Kids Club game and Student Philanthropy Night Option #3 vs. Cleveland State
December 19 - International Student Tailgate for students staying in town over winter break. $15 break game tickets available for Paint Crew seats
December 21 - Holiday Bash and $15 winter break game tickets available
January 1 - First 1,000 fans to buy a student section ticket receive a Purdue Pete bobblehead vs. Minnesota.
January 8 - T-shirt giveaway game vs. Wisconsin
January 17 - Donate a canned food item and receive a Top gun themed poster vs. Illinois. First 1,500 fans receive aviator sunglasses
January 21 - First 2,000 fans receive a Gene Keady bobblehead
February 1 - Hammer Down Cancer Game
February 18 - Boilermaker Blackout game vs. Michigan State.
February 28 - Senior Day vs. Indiana
Single game tickets will not be available for Villanova or Indiana. Those are part of a mini-plan or full season tickets only.
