Franceville, Indiana is pretty much a dot on a map about 40 miles straight north of West Lafayette, and West Central HS is one of the smallest high schools in the state with a football team. It has less than 300 students, so Denton is a player that had to play both ways out of necessity. He graduated in 2014 with a couple of interceptions and tackles, but was primarily a kickoff returner for a team that made the sectional championship game two years in a row.

Denton joined the team this spring as a walk-on and looks to be a player that is a long way away from playing on Saturdays.
