In 2015 Austin Appleby separated himself and was named the starting quarterback for the season opener, mostly because he had the most experience of anyone on the team. He was eventually replaced by David Blough.

This is not a surprise, because Blough has, by far, the most experience of any quarterback on the roster. Will be saying he will be replaced soon by Elijah Sindelar, however?
I like the choice of Blough. I think he can be a solid quarterback at Purdue, but I am terrified for him because of the major questions at offensive tackle. If Purdue can settle that and protect him even a little things could turnaround and we can stop this carousel. If not...
