P.J. Thompson, Dakota Mathias, Ryan Cline, Caleb Swanigan, and Isaac Haas were named as the starters, but Carsen Edwards led the Boilers in the first quarter with nine points according to Chris Forman. Edwards finished the first half with 13 points for Purdue, while Swanigan had seven.
