34 Days to Purdue Football: Ronnie Hill

Hill is a promising walk-on safety from Cathedral in Indianapolis.

David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

If you're going to get walk-ons, at least get them from a top program in Indiana. Today we have one from Cathedral in Indianapolis.

2016 Prediction: Reserve at Safety

Last season Hill was at Southern Illinois University, where he did not play as he redshirted. That makes him a transfer here. He certainly knew some success in high school. He was part of four state championship teams at Cathedral, the last two as they played up a class due to the IHSAA's success factor. He was a teammate of Joe Schopper and walk-on receiver Malcolm Dotson too.

I can't find his stats from his time at Cathedral, but he was a multi-year starter at safety for a state power program. This is a player that can possibly contribute in the future. Here are his highlights.
