Hayes is a solid 3 star receiver with good size. He is rated as the No. 10 wide receiver in the Midwest and the top receiver in the state of Kentucky. He had a bunch of offers, among the best being Cincinnati, Marshall, and Middle Tennessee State, but he was drawing interest from a bunch of bigger programs like Notre Dame, Florida State, Michigan State, and Arkansas. This is a pretty good get for Purdue. He looks to be a big, versatile athlete that might be able to contribute right away.
