Long snapping is winning! When was the last time Purdue had a bad snap on a punt or kick placement? It has been awhile because our long snappers are awesome. Today's player keeps up that tradition.

Makowski was one of the few true freshmen to start every game last season. He was the No. 6 recruited long snapper in the nation according to Chris Sailer Kicking, and his play showed. Delivering a long snap perfect every time, then running downfield into coverage is not an easy task. Makowski never had a bad snap from what I saw, and he even managed a tackle in a game.
Makowski used his unique skill to earn a scholarship and he is studying aviation management. He is already well on his way to being a four year starter, too, which is rare.
