As always when we are in this part of the roster we are dealing with the big uglies. The offensive line has a lot of possibilities, but it desperately needs depth. That is where today's player hopes to contribute.

It certainly was not a long commute for Truitt to have his recruiting visit. He went to high school mere blocks away from Ross-Ade Stadium and he helped the Red Devils of West Lafayette HS reach the semi-state of the state tournament as a junior. He brings good size to the line and was a three-star commits one of the better players in Indiana. He was originally committed to Miami (OH) but was flipped to his hometown team.
Truitt comes from a huge Purdue family. He is the fifth generation of his family to go to Purdue, so perhaps it was destiny for him to end up here. Now it is time for him to come out and contribute.
