Purdue is set at offensive guard this coming season. Kirk Barron will be the new starter at center, but he is bookended by a pair of fifth year seniors that are long-time starters including today's player.
Jordan Roos - Sr. (5)

Offensive Guard
2016 Projection: Starter at Right Guard
Roos joins Jason King and Cameron Cermin as one of the final contributors from Danny Hope's tenure in West Lafayette. All three redshirted in his final season and have been regulars up front since Darrell Hazell started in 2013. For Roos, he started six games in 2013 and has been at right guard ever since. That is a continuity of 30 consecutive starts.
Roos is versatile too. He has played all over the line and has opened holes for a decent stable of running backs. In high school he was also a national champion in the shot put and a three-time Texas state champion. Maybe he can teach Chukwuebuka Enekwechi a few things and convince big Chuk to stay for another season to be a blocker.
