A pair of teams that reached at least the Sweet 16 could highlight the non-conference schedule for the Purdue women's basketball team. In early season tournaments Purdue could face Mississippi State, who made the Sweet 16 and Stanford who made the Elite 8. The game against Stanford could occur in Cancun as both the Purdue men and women will play in that event.
The season begins on November 6th with an exhibition against Division II Ursuline. The season begins in earnest with a four-team tournament at the University of Maine as Purdue will face the host Black bears on November 11th. The next day Purdue will face Villanova or Mississippi State.
The first home game of the year comes on November 17 against South Carolina-Upstate, followed by Southern Illinois on November 20th.
From November 24-26 Purdue will face Northeastern, Stanford, and Wichita State in some order. There will be little time to rest as a TBA game int he women's ACC/Big Ten Challenge for the week of November 28.
Of the remaining six games five will be at home. Purdue hosts Colgate on December 4th and Central Michigan on December 6th before going to ball State December 8th. On December 11th North Carolina Central comes to Purdue followed by Eastern Michigan on December 18th. Finally, IUPUI comes to Mackey Arena on December 21.
