2016 NFL Undrafted Free Agents: Frankie Williams to Bengals

The 4-year starter in the secondary will make the short drive from West Lafayette to Cincinnati.

Sandra Dukes-USA TODAY Sports

As a lead Purdue blogger I enjoy watching all Purdue players, but one of my favorites over the past few years to watch was Frankie Williams. Here was a guy that balled out and played to the maximum of his ability at all times. It also helps that my son was a huge fan of his because he was on last year's schedule poster. Frankie now gets a chance to continue his career at the next level as he has accepted a free agent offer with Cincinnati:

Williams and cornerback teammate Anthony Brown are now both off to the NFL. For much of their career Williams was the better player, but it was Brown that was drafted in the 6th round. Williams had 10 career interceptions and even a pick 6 against Iowa in 2014. He could make some noise as a punt returner too.

For our friends at Cincy Jungle we have a profile on Frankie.
