Our first undrafted free agent to sign with an NFL team will stay close to home. That is something he and his family are used to. Danny Anthrop, Purdue's leading receiver in terms of receptions in 2015, signed to the closest possible Division I college out of Lafayette Central Catholic High School. Anthrop should be used to playing in Lucas Oil Stadium. He led Central Catholic to three straight state championships in that building in 2009, 2010, and 2011 as those teams went an impressive 44-0 record. He likely has a long road towards actually making the roster, but as a slot receiver he should get a decent chance.
For our friends at Stampede Blue, here is our draft profile on him.
