2016 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16: How to Watch

Here is the schedule for tonight and tomorrow's Sweet 16 games.

Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

I don't know about you, but between Purdue's devastating loss and my strep throat on Sunday I might have watched 1 hour of basketball since the Boilers were knocked out.If you have the stomach for it, here is the Sweet 16 TV schedule. My picks for each game based solely on rooting interest:

Miami-Villanova: Miami - Because, aside from my marriage, I really do like the Canes. Jim Larranaga has done an excellent job building a program with virtually no history.

Texas A&M-Oklahoma: Oklahoma - Because Texas A&M in general just rubs me the wrong way with the way they bolted from the Big 12 and they are so namby-pamby about playing Texas. Also, the Aggies are lucky as hell to be here, as even Purdue would say, "damn, that's a collapse" to UNI.

Kansas-Maryland: Kansas - Part of the 6th stage of mourning: Spite. It is entirely possible two teams could reach the Final Four that Purdue has beaten. That twists the knife only deeper.

Oregon-Duke: Oregon - Everyone hates Duke.

Virginia-Iowa State: Virginia - So much for the game I really wanted to see: two great defensive teams in Purdue and Virginia in a 34-32 rockfight.

Notre Dame-Wisconsin: Wisconsin - I can't believe the Badgers are still alive, and that Purdue handled them twice. Greg Gard is a hell of a coach.

North Carolina-Indiana: North Carolina - Do I really need to give a reason here? Although I must admit, this tournament has a 2002 vibe to it where Indiana just feels like a team of destiny. It would also hurt that much more if they overachieved with a B1G title and Final Four appearance while Purdue underachieved with a first round 12/5 upset and massive collapse.

Syracuse-Gonzaga: Syracuse - I didn't think Syracuse even deserved to be int he tournament, but we need to keep them alive for now for one reason alone: the ultimate Tom Crean repellent.
