Earlier today it was announced that A.J. Hammons was a finalist for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award, which goes tot he top center in all of college basketball. He is one of five finalists along with:
Jakob Poeltl - Utah
Ben Bentil - Providence
Domantas Sabonis - Gonzaga
Joel Bolomboy - Weber State
The good news is that, much like the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, which Robbie Hummel won a few years ago, you can go and vote for A.J.
THIS IS THE LINK THAT YOU WANT TO CLICK ON TO VOTE FOR AJ.
That link allows you to vote once a day per email address. A win by AJ keeps the award in the Big Ten, as Frank Kaminsky won it last season. I, unfortunately, do not have a vote for All-American for AJ, but this is at least something we can all vote on. It likely also means that AJ gets his number in the rafters of Mackey Arena too as the winner of a national award.
So vote early, vote often, vote AJ!
