Alex Criddle and Brandon Shuman put pen to paper this morning, adding their names to the Purdue football roster.
Alex Criddle is a 6'4, 310 pound behemoth from Oklahoma, destined to clog the middle of the defensive line for the Boilermakers. Here is some more information from when he committed to Tulane earlier:
Criddle, who has a 3.8 GPA, said education was "very important" in his decision making.
He finished last season with 57 tackles and 11 sacks in helping Edison to the Class 5A playoffs for the first time since 2005.
Criddle, rated as a two-star prospect by Rivals and 247Sports, also plays offensive lineman for Edison but said "it doesn't matter" where he plays at the next level but did admit a certain affinity for playing defense.
Brandon Shuman is a 5'11, 185 lighting bolt from Miami, Florida. Shuman is a lock down corner and an exceptional athlete. Shuman was named the No. 44 player in the Miami-Dade area earlier this year. I'll have more on Shuman later today.
