Purdue played only once last week, but it beat a top 10 team, so that was bound to have an effect on its ranking. For most of the season Purdue has been int he 15-20 range with a high of 8 and a low of 25. Not a bad place to be, especially as one of only 10 or so teams that have been ranked every week.
this week Purdue was able to jump 6 spots from 19th to 13th in the coaches based on beating Maryland:
