It appears to be official that Jeff Brohm is on his way to West Lafayette. There will be a press conference at 3pm and it will be carried by Big Ten Network according to Nathan Baird at the Lafayette Journal & Courier:

That is in a little less than three hours, which is probably why the official Purdue football Twitter tweeted this:

For the record, they also confirmed that it is Jeff Brohm, likely meaning the plane is headed to pick him up:

The financials of the deal have not been fully disclosed, but it appears it is in the neighborhood of $20 million over 6 years, a significant upgrade over his Western Kentucky salary and even an upgrade over Hazell’s salary:
Jeff Brohm will receive a 6-year, $20 million deal at Purdue, source told @ESPN

No word on what the pool for assistants will be. As I have said all along, I am most concerned with who the defensive coordinator will be because we desperately need someone who can at least hold teams under 35. Not sure we have that at the moment.
This is a decent hire, overall. I think Brohm was my No. 3 choice, but I am not totally disappointed. I am still tempered because of how badly we were burned with Hazell.
