Jeff Brohm has vastly improved Purdue’s recruiting after just a couple of weeks on the job. According to ESPN, he has two four-star commitments on the board in the form of Tyler Hamilton and safety T.J. Jallow. He could have a couple more coming too, as January 13 is a major recruiting and a pair of 4-star prospects in the secondary that would give us a very strong back four if they both commit.
Mykelti Williams – Williams was one of the top players in Indiana and a 4-star prospect two years ago when he committed to Notre Dame. He redshirted there, never playing for the Irish, before leaving and going to Iowa Western and notching 93 tackles with three interceptions this past season. It seems like Purdue has a really good shot here, being close to home for him. Should he commit he would have three years of eligibility remaining. A 6’1” safety that prowls the middle of the field like a Cheetah? Yes please!
Jarrell White – White is a 4-star athlete from Cincinnati that Purdue is recruiting for the defensive secondary. He has a host of offers all over the place, but he appears to be considering Purdue and Cincinnati. Earlier tonight he said that his commitment is coming soon:
High school career is finally over now it's time to go to work and get prepared for the next level. Commitment date coming soon‼️— Jarell White (@Jarell2Legit) December 30, 2016
He also posted his senior highlights:
Obviously any four star recruit is a player that has the potential to play immediately, so we can definitely use this kid. Getting four four-stars (by at least one service) in one class is something we haven’t done in forever.
Keep cleaning up the mess Hazell and Burke left, Brohm.
