College Basketball Rankings December 12: Purdue back at #15

Purdue completely blew out Arizona State and Cleveland State last week. The later was expected, but the former was a bit of a surprise. In a nationally televised game in Madison Square Garden Purdue completely obliterated the Sun Devils, leading by more than 40 before putting in the walk-ons and coasting to the end.

The result of the blowouts is that Purdue moves up a bit in this week's AP poll three spots to No. 15

What's interesting here is the Villanova conundrum. Purdue lost at home to Villanova by three points and dropped two spots back in November. This week, Notre dame loses by 8 to Villanova on a neutral floor and actually moves UP two spots to No. 21.
