10 Days to Purdue Football: Matt Burke and Mike Little

Today we have two more players that have yet to play at Purdue.

Sandra Dukes-USA TODAY Sports

Yesterday we had a pair of players that have yet to see the field, while today is the same.

Matt Burke - So.

West Palm Beach, FL (Cardinal Newman HS)

6'6", 222 pounds

Tight End

2015 Projection: Likely contributor at tight end

Purdue needs a tight end in the worst way. Jordan Jurasevich is the only player at this position hat returns with experience, and he is a senior that has one catch for two yards. Burke is more of a pass catcher to Jurasevich's blocking, and he projects to be the top option at the position as a receiver. He is tall and has good size at 222 pounds. He can line up in the slot and work his advantages there. As a senior in high school he had 29 catches for 343 yards and 6 TDs. He also played in the Army All-American Bowl

Mike Little - Fr.

Newhall, CA (Notre Dame HS)

6'. 175 pounds

Cornerback

2015 Projection: Possible reserve at Cornerback

Purdue is going to play some freshmen at cornerback, and one of those freshmen could be Little. He is one of several defensive backs Purdue brought in this summer to shore up the back half of the defense. He is a three-star commit from California that played four years in HS. He had five interceptions last year and looks like a promising prospect, but he could end up redshirting as well. Here are some highlights:
