Boilers to Appear at Big Ten Media Days

If you want a generic sound bite that will be broadcast on BTN and reveal absolutely nothing of value for the upcoming season, then Big Ten Media Days is for you. I have been to this twice now and while the kickoff luncheon is nice, the only real value is the roundtable interviews with the players and coaches. Otherwise, it is an excuse for beat writers to gather on their company's dime in Chicago and jot down generic quotes right and left.

this year there is a specific SB Nation blogger meet-up, but I likely won't be able to go because of the day job. It is also the first time that the conference with be split into East and West days. Purdue is sending seniors Danny Anthrop, Frankie Williams, and Robert Kugler as the player representatives. the best you can do is try to have fun with it, like I did in 2011.
