90 Days To Purdue Football: Will Colmery

A developmental player will try to make the two-deep as a redshirt freshman.

Purdue desperately need a pass rush. It is no secret, especially when Ryan Watson led the team with a paltry four sacks last season and only one came in conference play. Perhaps today's player, who is coming out of his redshirt year, can be a player that generates that pass rush.

Colmery came to Purdue as a developmental 3-star player and it is no surprise that he spent last season redshirting. From suburban Chicago, he was one of the top players in the area in 2013. He brings size to Purdue where he can play defensive end or defensive tackle. Here are some of his highlights:

I don't know how much we will see of Colmery since he is not currently on the two-deep, but he does provide some depth. He is an interesting player that will need to develop more.
