Thank you, Virginia Tech!
For the first time in eons its seems, Purdue gets a non-noon kickoff time at Ross-Ade Stadium:
2 more game times for #Purdue FB: Sept. 12 vs. Indiana State, noon. Sept. 19 vs. Virginia Tech, 3:30
— mike carmin (@carminjc) June 12, 2015
That gives Purdue a couple of non-noon non-conference games, as the opener at Marshall will be at 3pm. It is not a surprise that the Indiana State game is a noon game. What is a surprise is the network. Purdue will face ISU on ESPNews (I am sure the bidding for that was HOT!), while the Purdue-Virginia Tech game will be on ESPNU.
Here are the other kickoff times and TV arrangements that we know:
September 6 at Marshall - Fox Sports 1 (This is a SUNDAY kickoff).
October 3 at Michigan State - Noon
October 17 at Wisconsin - Noon
November 7 vs. Illinois - Noon
