Yep, we're a golf school.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

It has been a rather successful season for both golf programs. The women's team is back into the NCAA Tournament after a one-year absence. The men's team, which continues to improve every year, is also back in the NCAA Tournament after making it last season as well.

Despite finishing 8th at the Big Ten Championships the Boilers were selected to participate in the Lubbock Regional next week. Purdue will be the No. 10 seed there against a very tough field. Texas, Texas Tech, Auburn, and North Florida are all among the top 25 teams nationally.Purdue carries a No. 60 national ranking into the regional. It is the 11th time overall that Purdue has reached a regional and in five of the previous ten regionals the Boilers reached the NCAA Championships.

Overall, the top five teams will advance to the NCAA Championships to be played in Bradenton, Florida. Austin Eoff and Ben-Marvin Egel have been Purdue's top two golfers with Stuart McDonald taking part in 11 events.
