Purdue Football Schedule Change

Purdue Vs Marshall season-opening football game has been changed from Saturday September 5, 2015 to Sunday September 6, 2015. The game will be played in Huntington, West Virginia.

Pat Lovell-USA TODAY Sports

This could be a game that leads us in the right direction.  If we can open the year with a win, it will be a huge confidence builder for this Purdue team.  Marshall finished last year with a 13-1 (7-1 C-USA) and they were a 1 point loss from being undefeated.  Their loss was a home game against Western Kentucky.  I'm sure most of you remember our last meeting with Marshall in 2012 when we won a 51-41 shoot-out.  The game was moved to make it a nationally televised game.  As of right now,  no other games are scheduled on Sunday September 6th.  There is one college game on Monday September 7th with Ohio State Vs. Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.  The NFL is opening the following weekend.  Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. ET.  More details on the TV will be released at a later time.

(Hopefully with the win we will be able to enjoy our Labor Day weekend)
