Purdue picks up a big 'ol offensive lineman from Oklahoma.

Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports

After going months without a commitment we get a second commitment within a week! This time we even stole a commit, too. Alex Criddle, a lineman from Edison Prep School in Tulsa, Oklahoma switched from Tulane to Purdue this evening:

Criddle is a big boy, listed at 6'2" and 305 pounds. He also plays one both sides of the football at defensive tackle and offensive guard. His highlights can be viewed here, but he is a 2-star prospect according to Rivals, a 3-star according to ESPN, and a 2-star according to 247.

It is hard to judge linemen or even where he will play at Purdue, but I like that he has the versatility to play on both sides of the ball. He will likely end up where Purdue has the most need for him.

Yes, he is not a highly touted recruit, but let's welcome him aboard anyone. We're glad to have him in the Boilermaker family!
