After another solid week with two double-doubles and a 15-5-6 line against Youngstown State on Saturday Caleb Swanigan was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the second time this season.

Swanigan now has four double-doubles on the season, the third most by a Purdue freshman in school history and the fifth most for a freshman nationally this season. For the season, he is averaging 9.9 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game, being one of three freshmen nationally to average 9.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game (LSU's Ben Simmons, Marquette's Henry Ellenson).

Swanigan leads the Big Ten in rebounding (9.2 RPG) and already has surpassed 100 rebounds for the season (101), coming in just 11 games.

Biggie's averages for the week were an impressive 15 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists as he helped pace Purdue to a 3-0 week. He is only going to get better too!
