As expected after the big weeks this past week, Purdue's Anthony Brown and David Blough both won this week's Player of the Week awards from the Big Ten.
For Blough, he takes home the Offensive Player of the Week (but NOT Freshman of the week) after throwing for 274 yards and four TDs while running for 82 yards and a score. He is the first Purdue player to win Offensive Player of the Week since Robert Marve against Indiana in 2012.
Brown wins Defensive Player of the Week after he had three interceptions, a first for a Purdue player in 18 years. He also had four tackles and a pass breakup. He is the first Purdue player to get Defensive Player of the Week since Kawann Short at Iowa in 2012.
Congrats to both Anthony and David!
