A.J. Hammons "Expected" to Play Tonight Per GBI

Our long, national nightmare is over.

Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

Finally, it looks like senior A.J. Hammons will make his 2015-16 season debut tonight against Incarnate Word according to GBI:

No, we have no idea why he was pseudo-suspended. No, we don't expect to ever know. I never thought it was a big deal anyway. It was clear it was something he controlled and needed to do and because of Isaac Haas Purdue would be fine without him.

If anything, I liked the surprising versatility that it gave Purdue. When Purdue played the last two games without Haas it made the Boilers smaller and quicker. It opened things up a little bit and at least showed we do not have to have one of our massive, plodding centers on the floor.

So welcome back, A.J. It is time to play some basketball.
