Hey guys, this is a quick morning post (and I really hope we don't have to go back to daily Swanigan posts) with some slightly good news about Caleb Swanigan as we enter month No. 6 in covering him. Last night Chris Forman, the Purdue basketball SID, took to twitter and answer some fan questions about the situation:
@JeffABerger Don't really know. They check out high-level recruits much more in-depth. It's actually very common.

@JeffABerger I'm not concerned.

So this is a very good sign if Forman is not concerned, especially since he is basically the PR arm of the basketball program. Also, I found it funny he sent this out this morning, also from the Boiler Bylaws profile that is basically the compliance section of the athletic department:
"And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32 Sometimes we have to hammer home the truth to others. #BoilerUp

Finally, the following is presented without any editorial commentary whatsoever:
Swanigan..NCAA doesn't set out to sit kids..circumstances dictate further review..anyone that's coached understands this..he'll b cleared
