Greetings from West Lafayette! I am in the house at Mackey Arena with my second of four media passes for the season as the boilers host Michigan. Last season the Wolverines came to West Lafayette and it was one of the most heartbreaking defeats in Purdue history. When the son of one of the all-time greats knocks down the game-winner in overtime it is a loss that stings for some time.

First place in the Big Ten is on the line in this one. I don't know how long we will be able to say that, but it is fun to say even after only one game.
