After toiling for an awful team in Orlando for the past few seasons it looks like Purdue great E`Twaun Moore might be getting a major upgrade. With the Kevin Love deal going down the Cavs are in the market for a backup point guard, and Moore could be the answer:
Free agent guard E’Twaun Moore is the subject of strong consideration from the Cavs, reports David Pick of Eurobasket.com (Twitter link). Moore reportedly held off on signing a deal with Olimpia Milano of Italy amid interest from two NBA teams. It appears Cleveland is one of those clubs, though the identify of the other remains unclear.
Moore would then be the third active player from Purdue in the NBA, along with Carl Landry and Robbie Hummel. His signing would guarantee two home games each in Indianapolis and Chicago, plus he has the small benefit of playing with the current greatest player on the planet. If Lebron's return to Cleveland leads to a championship it will greatly benefit Smooge.
